Free Online Mental Health First Aid Taster Sessions Launched by Training Provider

First Response First Aid (FRFA) Ltd, an approved training provider, is inviting businesses and their staff to join a mental health first aid taster session aimed at improving the recognition of mental health issues and promoting wellbeing. These online sessions will be offered free of charge on 21st June 2024, empowering professionals across all sectors, including healthcare and childcare, to boost mental health awareness and create healthier, more supportive workplaces.

These hour-long taster sessions, normally costing £79 per person, will provide participants with a glimpse into the essential skills and knowledge necessary to support mental health effectively, covering vital topics and techniques included in FRFA’s accredited mental health training courses.

Participants have the option to attend one of two informative sessions. The Adult Mental Health First Aid session will focus on recognising and responding to mental health challenges in adults and is scheduled for Friday 21 June 2024, from 12:30 to 1:30pm. The Youth Mental Health First Aid session is designed for childcare professionals and will introduce key skills to support young people’s mental wellbeing, taking place on Friday 21 June 2024, from 2:00 to 3:00pm.
